FYM-Italcementi and the National Association of Manufacturers of Architectural Concrete Facades (ANfhARQ) announce the third edition of the contest of New Properties of Architectural Concrete Design Contest which motto chosen for this edition 2012 is " ARQ-TMOSFERAS: sustainable Solutions in architectural concrete ". This contest awards the most innovative constructive solutions designed with this material by means of TX Active® cement, beside promoting the investigation on the different uses of concrete.

The agreement also includes training and diffusion activities to spread the properties and advantages of the photocatalytic constructive solutions, as well as their decontaminating and self-cleaning properties, perfect for great urban areas. These active solutions add new functionalities and properties, which has determined that the association and FYM-Italcementi will decide to develope together the innovative solution “Architectural Concrete Facades+TX Active cement”.

Design Contest
Contest is targeted to all the students registered in any Spanish, public or private School of Architecture, and Erasmus. New Properties of Architectural Concrete Contest awards the most innovative constructive solutions designed  with this material by means of the cement employment TX Activate, beside promoting the investigation on the different uses of the concrete.
