Tenth anniversary of the Museum Rezola.
2009 Launch of the Seguridad Solidaria project. Start up of a concrete additives factory. Launching of Axsis additives.
2008 All the activities of Financiera y Minera and Cementos Rezola unified under the FYM brand. FYM wins the Doñana Prize, an award for the companies which contribute the most to Sustainable Development in Andalusia.
2007 Launch of TX Active®. Inauguration of Atlántica de Graneles.
2005 The works to modernise the Málaga factory begin. This project is the greatest environmental investment in an industry in the history of the Andalusian province.
2000 All three factories obtain the ISO 14001 environmental certification. Launch of the Zero Accidents project.
1994 The legal reorganisation of the group’s activities in the State as a whole is completed. Cementos Rezolas S.A. merges with Financiera y Minera S.A., thus becoming the legal head of Italcementi Group’s activities in Spain.
1992 Italcementi Group takes control of Ciments Français and therefore Financiera y Minera and Cementos Rezola.
1990 Ciments Français gradually assumes the management of both companies by purchasing a majority of their shares. 1966 Inauguration of the white cement production line in the Arrona factory in Cestona, Guipúzcoa.
1963 Inauguration and beginning of activities in the Arrigorriaga factory in Biscay.
1915 The La Araña factory in Málaga starts producing artificial portland cement.
1900 Foundation of Sociedad Financiera y Minera, S. A. by José Rivas Masseguer y Juan Girbau Alavedra. Proyect boost of a new factory to produce portland cement type.
1850 Cementos Rezola begins its activities. It manufactures and markets natural cement.
