FYM celebrates Health and Safety Day in Arrigorriaga plant

Arrigorriaga, April 28, 2009 - This afternoon, a small event was held in the Arrigorriaga factory focused on presentations made by our Industrial Director for Quality and Environment, Michelino de Cata, the factory's Director, Angel Maria Jimenez, and the safety manager for FYM, Victor Salvo. Each spoke about the importance of safety and the “Zero Accidents” project for all factory employees.  

                                                                                                
More than 200 children celebrated the Day of the Trees and the European Minerals day in our quarries in Langraiz and Arcos 
   
Madrid, April 1, 2009 - This is the second year that FYM gives support to the Day of the Tree, celebration promoted by the Spanish Association of Aggregates Manufactures and Related Products (ANEFA). This year, our quarries have been chosen as flag facilities for the event in their autonomous counties. The celebration took place at the same time than the European Minerals Day, promoted by Cembureau and Oficement.  

                                                                                                 
FYM is a Plus Partner in the STOP CO2 Euskadi initiative    
      
Bilbao, January 14, 2009 - The Managing Director of FYM, Fabrizio Pedetta, signed the decision for FYM to join the Stop CO2 Euskadi initiative. This initiative aims to unite Basque industrialists interested in creating a favourable environment for the changes that will be necessary to face and in responding to a goal: To ensure our future by taking action on climate change and promoting innovation to move towards a sustainable economy.
